Prophetic Lesson on "The Yoke"

Isaiah 9:2-6; Isaiah 10:27; Matthew 11:28-30; Acts 8:20-23; Galatians 5:1; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18
Here is what I Am telling you. The source of your control must be My Spirit and My Spirit alone. Only complete submission to the Yoke of Christ will bring freedom in your life. All other forms of control will lead you into temptation and ultimately into destruction. Often you do not even realize that another force is leading you. You think you are doing exactly as you please and yet you do not see that your desires are being used by the enemy of your soul to lure you into his control. My yoke is easy and my burden is light because I carry it with you and I am leading you to your eternal home with Me. I have no other desire except for your good and your benefit. I understand that you do not always see the benefit—particularly when you are experiencing pain. But please know that I have your best interest at heart and have given all to secure life eternal for you. I give you this for your good that you may see and know as I see and know.
Here are forces that you are allowing to yoke you and lead you into temptation and destruction:
1. Arrogance: Isaiah 13:11; Luke 1:51-53;
James 4:4-6;1 Peter 5: 5-7; 1 Corinthians 12:20-21
2. Deceit: Daniel 8:23-25; Mark 7:20-23;
Colossians 2:8-10
3. Despair: 2 Corinthians 4:7-11; Nahum 1:7; Habakkuk 2:18-20
4. Unforgiveness: Luke 6:37-38; Mark 11:25-26;
Matthew 18:21-35
5. Unkindness: Ephesians 4:25-32; Titus 3:1-7;
6. Ingratitude: 2 Timothy 3:1-6; Romans 1:18-23
7. Contempt: Romans 14:7-13; Luke 18:10-14
We must recognize that these attitudes are sin!
