THE LIFELINE

"Many will be caught off guard because they have not been watching.  Rather, they have been absorbed in trying to fill their own unending desire.   The emptiness that comes with the worshipping of the human spirit is now beginning to be filled with the plan of the enemy and many will not reject it."

Prophetic Lesson on the Lifeline
Given 11-30-2012
Janet Mushegan Watson
(Hebrews 12:15-17; Hebrews 10:39)

Intro: Where are we?

>The state of Israel (Isaiah 66:7-80; Luke 21: 24-36;
    Zechariah 14:1-2; Joel 3:1-2)
>The state of the Church (2 Thessalonians 2:3; 2 Timothy 3:1-
    6; 2 Corinthians 11:13-15; Jude 17:21; Revelation 2:23)
>The state of the World (Habakkuk 2:4-5; Isaiah 5:18-24;
    Matthew 24:4-14)

You have come to the point in time that I have warned you concerning.  All of the elements of the evil plan are in place.  Behind the scenes alignments have been formed and they serve as lines of defense against anything that would come against the completion of the plan.  Many will be caught off guard because they have not been watching.  Rather, they have been absorbed in trying to fill their own unending desire.  The emptiness that comes with the worshipping of the human spirit is now beginning to be filled with the plan of the enemy and many will not reject it.  Previously honorable men have been compromised and are now being controlled by evil forces.  A moment of weakness—an indiscretion—has rendered them useless in the battle for right.  You are feeling the pressure of this emptiness all around.  It has been carefully orchestrated to be the womb of the plan of the Antichrist.  Activities deemed as neutral diversions were carefully used to get your eye off of that which only can save.  The foundation has been undermined while many were intent upon the decorations and furnishings.  Did you suppose that the house would always stand?  Now the storm is approaching.  You think that you have seen the storm, but you have only seen the precursors, warnings of that which is coming.  And yet, what is the response?  Further sinking into the pit you have, yourself, dug.  Look to Me and be saved.  Rid yourself of doubt and unbelief.  Listen to My voice.  Remember:

God is Greater
The world is insignificant in comparison to the I Am.  This does not mean that I do not care about the world.  I have given all to redeem you from its evil system.  But the system itself is evil to the core and is now the throne that will soon be assumed by the son of perdition.

The Plan is Bigger
The Plan is greater than the individuals.  This does not mean that I Am not a personal God.  I Am the Savior of individuals.  But individuals are only saved in conformity to my plans and purposes. So-called humanism raises the individual above all else.  But without Me the individual is lost and incapable of overcoming evil influence.

You are More
You are more than your experience.  You are more than your body. You are more than your concept of self.  You are an eternally existent being created in My image for good works.  Your fulfillment comes in the spirit realm as you learn to operate in the authority that I have made available to you through the Christ.

Now in coming days you will be tempted to conform, concede, or despair.  I Am telling you that the only remedy is to stand in the TRUTH and let that be your lifeline that brings you through the storm to safety in My Presence.  (John 12:35-36; 2 Thessalonians 2:7-12; 1 Thessalonians 5:1-9)

Scriptures for Prophetic Lesson on “The Lifeline”
Janet Mushegan Watson

Hebrews 12:15-17
15 Exercise foresight and be on the watch to look [after one another], to see that no one falls back from and fails to secure God's grace (His unmerited favor and spiritual blessing), in order that no root of resentment (rancor, bitterness, or hatred) shoots forth and causes trouble and bitter torment, and the many become contaminated and defiled by it — 16 That no one may become guilty of sexual vice, or become a profane (godless and sacrilegious) person as Esau did, who sold his own birthright for a single meal. 17 For you understand that later on, when he wanted [to regain title to] his inheritance of the blessing, he was rejected (disqualified and set aside), for he could find no opportunity to repair by repentance [what he had done, no chance to recall the choice he had made], although he sought for it carefully with [bitter] tears. AMP

Hebrews 10:39
39 But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved. NIV

Isaiah 66:8
8 Who has heard such a thing?
Who has seen such things?
Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day?
Or shall a nation be born at once?
For as soon as Zion was in labor,
She gave birth to her children. NKJV

Luke 21:24-36
24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. 25 "There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." 29 He told them this parable: "Look at the fig tree and all the trees. 30 When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. 31 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near. 32 "I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. 34 "Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap. 35 For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth. 36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man."  NIV

Zechariah 14:1-4
Behold, the day of the LORD is coming,
And your spoil will be divided in your midst.
2 For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;
The city shall be taken,
The houses rifled,
And the women ravished.
Half of the city shall go into captivity,
But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then the LORD will go forth
And fight against those nations,
As He fights in the day of battle.
4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,
Which faces Jerusalem on the east.
And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,
From east to west,
Making a very large valley;
Half of the mountain shall move toward the north
And half of it toward the south. NKJV

Zechariah 14:12
12 And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet,
Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets,
And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths. NKJV

Joel 3:1-2
"For behold, in those days and at that time,
When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 I will also gather all nations,
And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
And I will enter into judgment with them there
On account of My people, My heritage Israel,
Whom they have scattered among the nations;
They have also divided up My land. NKJV

2 Thessalonians 2:3
3 Let no one deceive or beguile you in any way, for that day will not come except the apostasy comes first [unless the predicted great falling away of those who have professed to be Christians has come], and the man of lawlessness (sin) is revealed, who is the son of doom (of perdition), AMP

2 Timothy 3:1-7
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. NKJV

2 Corinthians 11:13-15
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. NKJV

Jude 17-21
17 But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. 18 They said to you, "In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires." 19 These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. 20 But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. 21 Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. NIV

Revelation 2:23
23 And I will strike her children (her proper followers) dead [thoroughly exterminating them]. And all the assemblies (churches) shall recognize and understand that I am He Who searches minds (the thoughts, feelings, and purposes) and the [inmost] hearts, and I will give to each of you [the reward for what you have done] as your work deserves. AMP

Habakkuk 2:4-5
4 "Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked; but the righteous will live by their faith. 5 Wealth is treacherous, and the arrogant are never at rest. They range far and wide, with their mouths opened as wide as death, but they are never satisfied. In their greed they have gathered up many nations and peoples. NLT

Isaiah 5:18-24
18 Woe to those who draw iniquity with cords of vanity, And sin as if with a cart rope; 19 That say, "Let Him make speed and hasten His work, That we may see it; And let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw near and come, That we may know it." 20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, And prudent in their own sight! 22 Woe to men mighty at drinking wine, Woe to men valiant for mixing intoxicating drink, 23 Who justify the wicked for a bribe, And take away justice from the righteous man! 24 Therefore, as the fire devours the stubble, And the flame consumes the chaff, So their root will be as rottenness, And their blossom will ascend like dust; Because they have rejected the law of the LORD of hosts, And despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. NKJV

Matthew 24:3-14
Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?" 4 And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you.  5 For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many.  6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.  7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.  8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.  9 "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake.  10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.  11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.  12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.  13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.  14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.  NKJV

John 12:35-36
35 Jesus replied, "My light will shine out for you just a little while longer. Walk in it while you can, so you will not stumble when the darkness falls. If you walk in the darkness, you cannot see where you are going.  36 Believe in the light while there is still time; then you will become children of the light." After saying these things, Jesus went away and was hidden from them. NLT

2 Thessalonians 2:7-12
7 As for the work this man of rebellion and hell will do when he comes, it is already going on, but he himself will not come until the one who is holding him back steps out of the way. 8 Then this wicked one will appear, whom the Lord Jesus will burn up with the breath of his mouth and destroy by his presence when he returns. 9 This man of sin will come as Satan's tool, full of satanic power, and will trick everyone with strange demonstrations, and will do great miracles. 10 He will completely fool those who are on their way to hell because they have said no to the Truth; they have refused to believe it and love it and let it save them, 11 so God will allow them to believe lies with all their hearts, 12 and all of them will be justly judged for believing falsehood, refusing the Truth, and enjoying their sins. TLB

1 Thessalonians 5:1-9
I really don't need to write to you about how and when all this will happen, dear brothers and sisters.   2 For you know quite well that the day of the Lord will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night. 3 When people are saying, "All is well; everything is peaceful and secure," then disaster will fall upon them as suddenly as a woman's birth pains begin when her child is about to be born. And there will be no escape. 4 But you aren't in the dark about these things, dear brothers and sisters, and you won't be surprised when the day of the Lord comes like a thief. 5 For you are all children of the light and of the day; we don't belong to darkness and night. 6 So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be sober. 7 Night is the time for sleep and the time when people get drunk. 8 But let us who live in the light think clearly, protected by the body armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation. NLT
