Prophetic Lesson on "Sacrifice"

4-24-2015

1. Surrendering all to the Lord releases the Fire that will set you free from bondage.  (1 Kings 18:24)

“The one who offers themselves to Me must do so with a free will and of their own choosing.  As a response to your sacrifice I will send Fire to consume from you all that keeps you from holiness. This Fire only destroys what is not of Me.  All else is consumed into My presence and becomes one with me by way of the Fire.  You do not need to fear this sacrifice because it does not mean the death of your being but the death of your struggle.  I cannot make you free until all that you are is offered without qualification on My altar.”

“As you offer yourself on My altar your spirit becomes open to Me.  This would not be possible had I not already given you the ability to be drawn from within.  This drawing invites you to ascend the altar and wait for My Fire to consummate your reformation.”

“You now take the altar with you as you do My will. You are perpetually being sacrificed—this is what makes your sanctification possible.  The moment you withdraw from the Altar is the moment that the Fire is extinguished." (The Burning, Running Sacrifice 6-25-2010)

2. As “captives” (captivated by the face of Christ) of the Altar we are held (like a seatbelt) in the peace and love of God through Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 12:1-2)

3. Rejection by the World is a necessary process.  You cannot remain on the Altar if you are also seeking the approval of the spirit that hates God in Jesus Christ.  (John 15:18-20; Luke 12:49-52; 1 Peter 4:1-5)

4. You must see with the Spirit what the world doesn’t see.  They go toward what they see and you will go toward what you see.  You cannot stay on the Altar if you are looking with natural eyes.  (Ephesians 1:17-21; 2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

5. You cannot stay on the Altar unless you know the joy of selflessness.  Otherwise you will grow resentful and remove yourself. (John 6:51; Philippians 2:17-18)

6. As you are unified with the I Am on His altar you will develop and intense love for Him that will make your sacrifice something to be desired and not avoided. (Matthew 13:44-46; Song of Solomon 3:4)

7. Thoughts that question or challenge your sacrifice must be taken into captivity.  (2 Corinthians 10:3-5; Romans 12:1-2)
